South Windsor High School Innovation Fund

The SOUTH WINDSOR HIGH SCHOOL INNOVATION FUND (SWHSIF) is a private, non-profit organization established in 2007,
through the SOUTH WINDSOR COMMUNITY FOUNDATION and the PUBLIC EDUCATION FUND PROGRAM.

We believe that South Windsor High School provides a quality education for its students. However, the South Windsor annual town budget lacks the funding and resources necessary to fully support the innovative, non-mainstream ideas and initiatives of its students and teachers. The SWHSIF has been established to encourage and grant monies to teachers and students for execution of these compelling ideas and initiatives. We believe these innovative ideas will lead to a more productive education and career for SWHS graduates and staff.

Each grant may cover one or two years of program work and is non-renewable. The SWHSIF also provides technical assistance through counseling, seminars, and its network of professional resources.
